The raised deck over the salon incorporates extra large panoramic overhead deck lights that provides incredible lighting inside. The large cockpit offers an innovative pivoting steering wheel which rotates ninety degrees allowing easy access from the helm to the companionway and extra comfortable seating to enjoy your view. With a deck layout designed for easy single handling, a roomy, well-lit salon and a galley with ample storage, are just a few of the well thought out details included to provide comfort and ease of handling. Cruising in style All sail control lines on a Moorings 35.2 are led aft to the cockpit for safety and convenience. The self-stacking mainsail system with lazy jacks and integral sail cover takes the work out of dropping the main, and the roller-furling genoa makes handling the big sail simple. The engine controls are mounted on the steering pedestal where they’re easy to reach, and the helm features a pivot so the wheel can be swung 90 degrees, allowing unobstructed access to the stern platform. Raising or lowering the anchor with the electric windlass is a labor-saver and there’s even a hand held remote for the windlass. Below is a well-lit and well-ventilated saloon with a drop leaf table for dining, allowing seating to port and starboard. On the starboard side just off the companionway is the galley with refrigerator, stove, oven, and plenty of stowage. To port of the galley is a roomy head that has a stall shower. There are two double cabins, one forward and one aft to enhance privacy. Each cabin has a double bed, generous storage, a hanging locker, a fan, two independent reading lights, and opening ports or hatches. Buena Vida is a Special Northwest-edition 2007 Beneteau 35.2 Moorings Edition Sailboat with many upgrades added beyond the standard Beneteau package. She includes such upgrades as an increased horsepower Yanmar diesel engine with high output alternator, heavier sailcloth in the mail with jiffy reefing. A heavier deeper keel to increase the ballast to weight ratio and more robust ground tackle including a larger anchor with 165 ft of chain. She is a completely outfitted cruiser ready to go including all the cruising gear, spare anchor, dinghy, even the barbecue and crab ring. With the NW edition Deep draft keel and upgraded semi-full battened mainsail included (An optional item the current owners added), this vessel can be powerfully driven and stay on her feet when the wind pipes up! She also includes custom dodger and bimini, Raymarine GPS/plotter with autopilot at the helm. Northwest Sailing comforts abound below such as the central diesel furnace, custom upgraded mattresses on the berths and a flat screen TV with DVD.
